Let the sun always shine…
The 1st of June is celebrated as the “Kids Protection Day”, an international holiday which brings happiness to each kid taking into consideration neither sex, nor nationality and social position. Yes, its definitely fest which brings peace and conciliation.
Since 1999, when the mayor of the Abovyan cityhad been elected K. Israelyan, the kids of the Abovyan felt like the heroes of that beautiful day.
And every year the municipalitys department which carries out the problems of the “Education, culture and youth”, the responsible member of which is Karine Kirakosyan, organizes an event dedicated to the “Kids international protection day”. On the eve the grown ups make surprises for the kids and the following day the full-face square of the municipality is decorated with multicolored pictures. This year the children of the “Fine-Art school” were also there with their chief Aris Karapetyan. When I asked how youll just call the row of your pictures, the answer was just the same: “Kids for kids”.
If today we try to look at the eyes of the kids, well see happiness and innocence.
