Գլենդելի աբովյանցիների ավագների թիմը

70-ական թվերին  Աբովյան քաղաքն իր սպորտային և հատկապես ֆուտբոլային հաջողություններով իր վերելքի գագաթնակետին էր հասել։ Ներկայիս կոտայք մարզադաշտի դեռևս հողածածկ դաշտում տեղի էին ունենում բազմաթիվ ֆուտբոլային մրցաշարեր, որտեղ քաղաքային հավաքականի տեսքով հանդես էին գալիս տարեբր ինքնագործ թիմեր։ Մարզադաշտի կառուցումը նոր էջ բացեց շրջանի սպորտային կյանքում. Բոլորին հայտնի Դարանի և հատկապես Կոտայք ֆուտբոլային թիմերը  դարձան Աբովյան քաղաքը բնորոշող սիմվոլներ։ Ժամանակին ԽՍՀՄ առաջին լիգայում հանդես եկող կոտայքի յուրաքանչյուր խաղ յուրահատուկ տոն էր պարգևում քաղաքի առօրյային։ Թիմը լավագույն դարբնոց էր դարձել նաև Արարատ-ի համար։ Պրոֆեսյոնալ անձնակազմ ուներ կոտայքը և բազում հայտնի անուններ է…
