“Star Future” Educational Cultural Non-Governmental Organization was established in March of 2004 in Abovyan.

Because of a lack of access to certain technologies in Abovyan, Star Future mission is to provide access to new technologies and education to community members of Abovyan.

 Star Future plans to carry out its mission by providing social and educational services such as preparing trainings to help unemployed persons gain new skills for different careers, creating a recording studio, English classes and providing business services to local business.

 Currently Star Future is offering free computer courses to help individuals gain the skill they need to enter a more competitive workforce. 

The NGO has also started an English club that will help its participants become more confident and fluent speaking English as a second language.  The staff of Star Future has experience working in other NGOs throughout Armenia and is currently involved in continuing their education by participating in trainings. A Peace Corps Volunteer from their community business development program also assists them in their development.

Star Future understands the importance of having the community’s support so that is can more effectively carry out its goals.

Star Future also has many volunteers that help the organization fulfill its mission.
By creating opportunities for youth to volunteer, Star Future is helping to foster the spirit of volunteerism that will help to create a better Abovyan and a better Armenia.
