JUVENILE DELINQUENTS AND WOMEN PRISONERS OF “ABOVIAN”

YEREVAN, JANUARY 19, ARMENPRESS: The “Tartu” non-governmental organization has been conducting for two years a “Pyunik” cultural program for juvenile delinquents and women population at Abovian correction facility on funds, donated by the Open Society Institute. In the frameworks of the program the lessons of folk song-dance, computer, fine arts, theater art, and now pottery lessons are being organized. 8 ARMENIAN NGOs SELECTED FINALISTS IN CB TENDER ON SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM

  YEREVAN, April 23 (Noyan Tapan).   The World Bank Yerevan Office and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation – Armenia (OSIAF) announced the results of the Small Grants Program-2003. Eight Armenian non-profit, non-government organizations were selected finalists to receive grant awards. The amount of awards totals $80,000. In total, 169 project proposals were received from NGOs from all over Armenia.
