Tsakhkazard-Adorned by flowers

In spring, the earth blossoms, rejuvenates, and revives following winter’s sleep. The appearance of new flowers gives the name for this celebration: Tsakhkazard (“adorned by flowers”). This folkloric event was also known as Tsarzardar (“adornment of trees”). This also symbolizes the start of spring. The exact year of the construction of the church is unknown because of the lack of historical data. Zhora Barseghyan

He was born in 1946 in village Sarchapet, Tashir marz,  He got his first professional education in Kiev, 1965-1968.In 1970 he studied in St. Petersburg in Art Academy in the faculty of Theory and History.Barseghian worked in academy and collaborated with E .Y. Maesenko and Y. M. Neprentsev’s studios in 1972-1982.In 1980 Zhora Barseghian created some colors from Armenian materials.  He has done more than 3500 canvases.He has created more than 32 monumental statues in different cities and districts.In 1995 he opened the Teenage Brash Masters (tbm) children’s studio .
